Sasha Grynyuk has performed at international venues including Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall and Weill Recital Hall.
Born in Kyiv, he studied at the Special Music School and National Music Academy of Ukraine. At 19 he moved to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Ronan O’Hora. He has also received instruction from Alfred Brendel and Murray Perahia.
He was chosen as a Rising Star for BBC Music Magazine and International Piano Magazine. He has also won the Guildhall Wigmore Prize and Guildhall School Gold Medal, previously won by Jacqueline Du Pré and Bryn Terfel.
Future plans include a debut recording for the Piano Classics Label and concerts in the USA, South America, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. In February 2012 Sasha will play for the Keyboard Trust at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg.
